Who dare rustle these hinges
that are holding the doors
Who dare tread like a thief in the dark
To whom belongs the torch
of which flickering flame
casts its light upon walls made of stone

Eyes made of bronze staring dead neath the vaults
Forgotten deities of old
Treading deep through the dark
Down the crypt leads the way
Through cursed silence and cold

Grasping out for the sword
That are clenched in dead hands
Grasping out for the power and vain
On his throne guards the keeper
of the rune-ridden blade
Limbs come alive to defend

Archaic wisdom
Ancient pride
Spells of the dead
Bringing dust and bone back to life

Who dare stand before the evil
that resides in these halls
Who dare claim what is buried and cursed
To whom belongs the soul
of a venturing fool
Who’s blood now seeps through the dirt

Archaic wisdom
Ancient pride
Spells of the dead
Bringing dust and bone back to life
